A Case For Whole Food buy multivitamins and supplements online exist

The Standard American Diet (SAD) is lacking in many vital nutritional components. Being largely composed of prepackaged, convenience foods with few naturally grown food products; this diet has contributed to an epidemic of not only obesity but also extreme nutritional deficiency. While many commercially available vitamin and mineral buy multivitamins and supplements online exist, they are manufactured in an artificial way that reduces bioavailability and promotes chemical contamination. As Americans are not likely to return to eating home grown food directly from their garden, the solution to the nutritional deficiency of America can be found in Whole Food buy multivitamins and supplements online which are vitamin, mineral and phytonutrient rich products made from actual food concentrates.

The Problem with the Standard American Diet

In the first part of the 1900’s most Americans ate a healthy, whole food diet because they had no choice. All food was grown either by the family or obtained from immediately local sources. America in the 1900’s was a largely agrarian society with most people living in rural areas and able to grow their own food. During the last century, a massive migration to urban areas has occurred. This has meant that even if one has the desire, most people no longer have the ability to produce self grown food. Either because there is no land or because many do not know how, very few people have a garden and even fewer produce protein in the form of dairy products and animal husbandry.

In spite of this developing migration, during World War II, families were encouraged to have a “victory garden”. This was not to ensure that Americans had a great diet but actually to ensure that American families could feed themselves at all, while allowing most of commercial food production to be sent to the troops overseas. That was the last period in history that America got most of their nutrition from locally grown food.

Beginning around the 1950’s, Americans did begin to recognize the value of vitamins and minerals within their diet. This was discovered because more and more pre-prepared, highly processed food products became available and nutritional deficiencies began to emerge buy multivitamins and supplements online.

After the end of World War II, many families became two-income families. In addition, many more single parents are now raising children by themselves. This means that in most homes, all of the adults present in any one household are likely employed outside of the home full-time leaving little time for food preparation alone much less any time for food production. America has become a convenience food nation consuming much of the diet from unnatural food sources.

Prepackaged and easy to prepare food products are just that, food “products”. Though they may contain carbohydrates, proteins, fats and some “essential” nutrients, they are not real food. The entire food supply chain is rife with contamination and chemical processing and many Americans are unaware of how little nutritional value the food that they consume every day contains. So much publicity and education has focused on the so called food pyramid. The governmental and educational agencies that have devised the perfect American diet have never truly addressed the lack of nutrients, other than the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of basic vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Calcium.

While these RDA levels of vitamin and mineral consumption may be an absolute bottom line essential to avoid obvious diseases of deficiency such as scurvy or rickets, they are hardly adequate and do not reflect but a small portion of the nutrients contained in whole food, necessary for promotion of health and prevention of disease.

A Crisis in America: Obesity and Other Diseases in the Face of Malnutrition

The main focus of the American diet in recent years has become reducing fat and increasing carbohydrates in the diet. This stream of thought was intended to reduce the growing epidemic of obesity but over the past 20 years, obesity has risen into numbers that appear to be a crisis for Americans. In fact, over the past 20 years the number of adult Americans who are obese has risen by 60% to an unprecedented level of almost 35% of American adults being considered obese. A much worse situation is that a similar number of approximately 32% of American children qualify as overweight or obese. For the first time in American history, the life expectancy of these children may be lower than that of their parents or grandparents.

This has led to an epidemic of heart disease, diabetes and other weight related problems occurring in record numbers not only in adults but seen in children as young as 18 months of age. Additional diseases that may be related to a lack of appropriate nutrients other than simple vitamins in American diets may include a wide variety of conditions ranging from immune disorders implicated in conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and Cancer to psychiatric and neurological conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Depression.

Most people believe that obesity occurs simply because people eat too much. While that is true in part, obesity also results from continuously consuming the wrong types of food. In the 1900s when Americans were consuming a largely natural, whole food diet directly from farm to table, obesity was an extremely rare occurrence.

As our diet has changed from an agrarian society’s nutrient rich food supply to the urbanized highly processed, artificial foods, our total food consumption has risen. This is in part because, though the body gets more calories from more food, it is still starved of nutrition causing one to eat even more. In addition, in our sedentary lifestyle our bodies actually need less food than when we lived and worked each day on the farm, yet we still eat more because of lack of proper nutrients, abundance of easily obtained processed food and other psychological conditions such as stress eating. In the end, America has become a nation of people who are obese but still malnourished and disease ridden.

The Dark Side of SEO: Black Hat SEO

Search engines are not infallible. We have all, at some point in our searching lives, found a link on the web that seemed interesting or helpful but when clicked were disappointed to find that the destination page was rubbish. Not only is it frustrating but a complete waste of time.

To receive a good ranking, some web page designers use spamdexing or as we like to call it black hat seo. Spamdexing or black hat seo techniques are the use of various methods to deliberately manipulate HTML pages to artificially increase their positioning on the search engines results page.

Everyone has been a victim of spamdexing or black hat seo. From the student who is doing research for their Shakespearean essay, to the small business owner trying to produce content for their niche related site, even the minds behind the search engines are annoyed to say the least.

Spamdexing takes advantage of search engines by completely ignoring respectable forms of search engine optimization. Spamdexers use a variety of techniques to make sure their websites are displayed in the fertile first two pages of search results; in many cases the
pages are irrelevant and even incomprehensible. Spamdexing includes the following techniques.

Keyword Stuffing:

This involves the practice of overusing a word to increase the keyword frequency on a page. Most modern search engines now have the ability to analyze whether the frequency is above normal level.

Hidden or Invisible Links:

When a webmaster creates multiple sites on the same or similar topic and links them all together through invisible links. The multiple sites may or may not have unique content, in most cases they do not.

Hidden Text:

Putting text (usually keywords) where visitors will not see them to increase a page’s keyword relevancy. This is commonly done by making some text the same as the background color of the page ie. White words on a white background.

Meta tag Stuffing:

Repeating keywords in the Meta tags more than once and/or using keywords that are unrelated to the site’s content.

Link Spamming:

Google considers page rank through link analysis, the more web pages that link to your website the higher the ranking. Some webmasters may create multiple websites at different domain names that all link to one another. This is the worst form of back hat seo techniques.

Cloaking:

This technique involves showing visitors and search engines different
versions of a page.

Each of the above methods is a form of spamdexing or black hat seo, and will get webmasters who put them to use banned from the search engine. Google has taken an active role to combat against spamdexing. From January 25, 2005 it went after websites that specialized in Google bombing.

Top 10 Reasons Why Small Businesses Should Hire an SEO Firm

SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization, and it includes all the strategies and techniques that will lead a certain website to a higher rank and a better position in the search results of a certain search engine. Nowadays, SEO and marketing are inseparable concepts. This means that you need it in order to make your business more profitable and successful.

This is the time when, no matter the field of your business, you certainly have a pretty strong competition there. In these conditions, many business owners are happy to just keep their head above the water, but this is definitely not the key to success.

The question is how can you make noticeable progress and be successful if you have a small business? We will offer you an answer that has been already tested by a multitude of small businesses: hire an SEO agency.

1. SEO is not a piece of cake

After you read a few articles on the Internet, you may think that SEO strategies are not such a big thing. In fact, who cannot deal with keyword density, put out links and things like that? The truth is that SEO strategies are a lot more complex, and a successful one requires a lot of time searching the right ways to increase your website ranking.

Moreover, it is important to understand the previous SEO techniques and know why they failed or not. This will help you understand the actual and future SEO tactics. Concepts such as keyword density are history now.

2. Save time

SEO cannot be learned overnight. If you want someone from your company to understand the technique and be good at SEO, you have to provide him with a lot of time for research and study. Taking into consideration that your employee didn’t know too much about SEO before, he will probably be overwhelmed by the multitude of old strategies that are no longer actual. If you convince all of your employees to do some research about SEO and apply some SEO strategies, this is nothing but a waste of time and money. Let your employees do their jobs, and hire an SEO firm.

3. Save money

A wrong strategy will fail and all the time and money you have invested will be wasted. Moreover, you will need some SEO software tools that may seem quite affordable at a first glance, but they are expensive if you calculate the costs. Even low-cost SEO software tools are pricey, and they cannot do the job of an SEO expert. Not to mention that you will have to learn how to use them on your own.

4. Search engines’ algorithms are always updated

If an algorithm is updated, this means that, most probably, some of the ranking factors have changed. This happens very often. An SEO agency will always be aware of these updates, and they will change the strategies and techniques according to every new update. Keeping up with all the updates and knowing how to improve your strategy every time is impossible if you are not an SEO expert, so don’t even think to try it.

5. SEO firms use professional analytics

SEO software and tools are crucial for understanding what are the suitable strategies for your website. You have to know what works and what does not work for you in order to improve your SEO tactics. Professional SEO analytics are expensive and hard to use; that’s why you should think about hiring an SEO firm.

6. SEO experience is irreplaceable

No matter how hard you try to do quality research and improve your SEO strategy, you will never have the experience of an SEO agency. This experience is vital for providing successful SEO tactics and integrating your business into the search engine systems.

7. SEO agencies provide you quality competitor analysis

Competitor analysis is very important for the success of your business and for creating the best strategies. Keep in mind that an SEO agency has a lot of experience and it knows what worked in the case of other businesses in your field and what didn’t. Moreover, they have a complete image of the area of your small business, and they know who your competitors are. If downloading your competitors’ back link profile and analyzing their topical authority sounds strange to you, you should hire an SEO firm.

Canon Digital Feature Film Making

Thanks to The Canon Company and the digital camcorders and DSLRs there is an underground digital feature film revolution happening. This revolution began a few years ago when Canon decided to add the 24 frames per second option into most of its mid range consumer camcorders. Later it would at this as a video option in its DSLR and the revolution has caught fire world wide.

There are so many sites and blogs dedicated to DSLR cameras such has the Canon D7, Mark II and the T2I that I thought that I would go old school and focus on the cameras that started the revolution and with a few add-ons can offer nearly the picture quality at a low price point. I will focus largely on the Canon HV series and the feature films that have been made with these little monsters and when the moment demands it I will get into some of the great work being done with the DSLRs.

Let’s begin with why should a low budget film maker consider these cameras. I would say in response that a low budget film maker should not and by low budget I mean if you have fifty thousand dollars or more to spend then you should consider using the Canon Mark II or the Red or a number of the Panasonic pro-sumer camcorders if you want to make a feature film. If you have fifty thousand or more why not go 16mm film. The film cameras are cheap and if you know what you are doing with them then go right ahead. The truth is that I am not here for the low budget feature film maker. I am here for those who are called ultra low budget or no budget feature film makers. You fall into this category if you have less than ten thousand dollars to spend on your first feature.

Allow me to describe you. You or a close friend have written the screenplay for your movie. You will be doing this project with the help of friends and family who will work behind the scenes for no pay. You will be shooting on nights and weekends and at locations that you can get for free or get in and out of without being caught feature film there. Your actors will be paid little to nothing up front. You will be looking to get the best production value out of the least amount of money spent possible.

In other words you are a lot like me.

You are only willing to pay for what is absolutely unavoidable. The three area where you are going to have to spend money are:

Sound, if your audience can not hear the movie then you are doomed. Viewers will give up on your project the third or fourth time they have to mutter what did he just say? Huh, What was that?

Editing, you may be able to use a free program, but you will need a computer strong enough and quick enough to edit and hopefully do some sound mixing on. If you have such a computer cool, you just saved money.

Camera, you need something that shoots in HD digital and shoots at 24p. Why 24p? That is the industry standard. This is the frame rate that gives you that motion picture look. You are going to have to spend some money on your camera. Money on the lenses and in most cases on a depth of field adapter.

The cameras are why we are here and let us talk about what to do and not to do. Get the best camera at the lowest possible price that will get the job done. Do not blow half of your production budget on your awesome new camera. It will feel wonderful to have that expensive camera and muse about all the things that it is able to do until it is day 12 of shooting and you have no money to feed your cast and crew. You have no money left for transportation, (gas money) and you have just realized that you should have set aside at least a third of your budget for post production cost. Treat your feature film like the tool that it is.

A camera is not jewelry. It is not a diamond ring. It is a tool. You could consider it a hammer or a shovel. I think of mine as my axe. Like a good guitar it can make beautiful music if tuned just right.

Leaders Must Get Passed Others’ FAULTS! Nobody’s Perfect

Nobody’s perfect! There, I’ve said it. Everyone, from the greatest leader, on down to the well-intentioned, but less than competent wannabe, does some things, which could stand to be improved, and/or enhanced. Someone serving in a position of leadership, must decide, whether he will get hung up on what someone else does less than Nobody’s Perfect or will opt to encourage and work with others to improve, without excessively criticizing, blaming, and/or complaining. A true leader identifies these areas, understands them and takes them into consideration, but overlooks many of these FAULTS, because he realizes that to err is human. Henry Ward Beecher put it this way, “Every man should have a good-sized cemetery in which to bury the faults of his friends.”

1. Finesse; face facts; friendly: How you handle others’ faults, is often the difference between being effectively able to work with them, while simultaneously realizing, and understand limitations and realities! It takes a high degree of finesse, to be able to critique, rather than to criticize! Great leaders face the facts, knowing what they are working with, and decide to create a mechanism to use strengths to his advantage, while knowing what weaknesses, to avoid and clarify. One can proceed in a friendly, cooperative way, or polarize others, by proceeding in an adversarial one.

2. Attitude; aims; attention: Leaders must pay keen attention, and understand where someone else is coming from! Prioritize the aims and objectives, that will help achieve your goals, etc. It begins with avoiding negativism, and proceeding, consistently, with a can-do, positive attitude.

3. Useful: The many distractions and obstacles, which obstruct one’s best leadership course, must be broken down into petty issues, and priorities. Therefore, when you look at faults, treat that process the same way, and make the most useful attributes, etc, the ones you give top priority.

4. Lessen load; laugh: Humor is a great leader’s friend! Discover areas you can laugh at, and maintain your sense of humor. The objective should be to lessen your load, so you can focus on achievements, priorities, and developing a sustainable system.

5. Timely; treatment: Just like treating an infection, is made simpler and more effective, by addressing and treating properly, as close to the onset, as possible, the faults of others, should be identify early, and a leader must decide, which ones are treatable, and which should be avoided.

6. Strengths; system: Know your personal strengths and weaknesses, as well as those of the individuals around you. Use the strengths effectively, and address the weaknesses. Which faults are malignant, and which are insignificant? If you are to be a sustainable leader, you must develop a system, which others believe and care about.

Don’t try to make others Nobody’s Perfect, or to do everything like you would! Rather, identify and know their FAULTS and Nobody’s Perfect, and work with, not against, them.

Staging Your Home When There Are Lots of Homes for sale in Baldwin Park

When you are putting your home on the market, it must look its best. What are some tips that you can follow to make sure that your home is competitive with other comparable Homes for sale in Baldwin Park in your town?

If you are considering staging your house yourself, there are several things that you will need. One of the most important things you will need is storage space so that you can remove the unnecessary things from your home. A couple of other things that come in handy to make your home unforgettable to potential buyers is attractive furniture and cleaning products so that it can be sparkling clean.

Before it can be cleaned, all clutter needs to be removed. This will help you spot the dirt and areas in the home that need to be fixed up. This is cleaning up all the papers, magazines, and other items that may be laying around on tables and counters so that potential buyers can see how much available counter space your house has. Other things that you should remove during this process are rugs and personal pictures so that buyers can imagine it with their own possessions in it.

Once all the clutter has been removed, you should fix up any areas of the residence that need to be repaired, such as cracks or holes in the wall, broken tiles, and faucets that leak. It is during this time that you should paint each room to a neutral color to help the buyers feel more comfortable and not distracted.

Once your clutter has been removed and repairs have been done, you should deep clean it so that it is spotless. For this, you could hire a carpet cleaning company and professional cleaners to make sure that your grout, tile, and windows look immaculate and that your house can compete with other Homes for sale in Baldwin Park .

Another important thing that you need to do to make your home competitive on the market is the proper placement of furniture. You want to avoid having all your furniture along the wall and you should remove large furniture so that the room looks larger.

Finally, you should make the house look good from the outside too. This is done by edging and cutting the grass and making sure that all the shrubs surrounding the house are neatly trimmed. Because this is what the buyers see first, if it does not look good, they may not even go inside.

When your home is ready, you need to have an open house so that potential buyers can walk through it and compare it to other Homes for sale in Baldwin Park. Sometimes having fresh cookies or fresh flowers on the counter can make it more inviting. Just remember that taking time to prepare your home may help you sell your house faster.

Our Favorite Realtor in Baldwin Park

If you’re going to sell someone a house, you have to be a real people person. Sales people, in general, rely on charisma, but Realtor in Baldwin Park have to bring a little something extra. After all, a home is for most people the biggest purchase they will make in their lives, and it’s among the most personal things you’ll ever buy. It makes sense that Hollywood has made great characters out of realtors. Here are our favorites.

Phil Dunphy – Modern Family

Ty Burrell plays Phil Dunphy on the hit show Modern Family, which has just been renewed for a seventh season. Phil is probably the most loveable goofball this side of Chris Pratt. He likes to think of himself as the cool dad (he knows all the words to High School Musical). Like most cool dads, he consistently embarrasses his three children, Luke, Alex, and Haley. He is the counterweight to his high-strung wife, Claire. He’s also a heck of a real estate agent. He’s never had a single month without a sale, and in his office, he takes the deals the other agents call ‘commission: impossible.’

Jenny MacArthur – The League

Jenny’s dynamic with her husband is not much different from that of Phil and Claire in Modern Family. She is the responsible and focused spouse while her husband, Kevin, is the dopey foil. Jenny is played by the beautiful Katie Aselton who digs into the role with a tomboyish tinge as the only female in the eponymous ‘league,’ an eight-person fantasy football league with her husband and their friends. In the early seasons, she wasn’t actually in the league, as it was strictly for the guys. She had to operate in secret as the brains behind her husband’s team. Once she got in, she proved she belonged by winning the whole thing. Unfortunately, her sales skills don’t help her sell a house to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. You win some, you lose some.

Ricky Roma – Glengarry Glen Ross

Unlike the two sitcom characters on this list, Ricky Roma, played by Al Pacino, does not provide a shred of comic relief. Glengarry Glen Ross is a movie based on a play written by David Mamet (who also penned the screenplay for the film). The film shows up on just about every ‘best ensemble casts of all time’ list that’s ever been written, and it isn’t hard to see why. The staff at the Chicago real estate office, where most of the film takes place, is made up of Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin, and Ed Harris as the cutthroat salesman. The office manager is played by Kevin Spacey and, just for good measure, Alec Baldwin has a dazzling cameo as a heavy-hitter from the downtown office who comes to give the guys a pep talk. The plot centers around a sales contest; first prize is a brand new Cadillac El Dorado, while last place is an early retirement. Any of the Realtor in Baldwin Park in this film could be on this list, but Pacino’s Roma takes the cake as the best salesman in the film. He closes one deal over a boozy evening that sees him tying the sale to the greater cosmic and personal truths of life while never losing focus. A-B-C: Always Be Closing!

Maybe the person who sells you your home won’t be like these Realtor in Baldwin Park . Then again, maybe they will. It’s not for nothing the profession makes for great characters.

Real estate agent in Baldwin Park- How to Buy and Sell Real Estate Today

Ten years ago, a search for real estate would have started in the office of a local Real estate agent in Baldwin Park or by just driving around town. At the agent’s office, you would spend an afternoon flipping through pages of active property listings from the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). After choosing properties of interest, you would spend many weeks touring each property until you found the right one. Finding market data to enable you to assess the asking price would take more time and a lot more driving, and you still might not be able to find all of the information you needed to get really comfortable with a fair market value.

Today, most property searches start on the Internet. A quick keyword search on Google by location will likely get you thousands of results. If you spot a property of interest on a real estate web site, you can typically view photos online and maybe even take a virtual tour. You can then check other Web sites, such as the local county assessor, to get an idea of the property’s value, see what the current owner paid for the property, check the real estate taxes, get census data, school information, and even check out what shops are within walking distance-all without leaving your house!

While the resources on the Internet are convenient and helpful, using them properly can be a challenge because of the volume of information and the difficulty in verifying its accuracy. At the time of writing, a search of “Denver real estate” returned 2,670,000 Web sites. Even a neighborhood specific search for real estate can easily return thousands of Web sites. With so many resources online how does an investor effectively use them without getting bogged down or winding up with incomplete or bad information? Believe it or not, understanding how the business of real estate works offline makes it easier to understand online real estate information and strategies.

The Business of Real Estate

Real estate is typically bought and sold either through a licensed Real estate agent in Baldwin Park or directly by the owner. The vast majority is bought and sold through real estate brokers. (We use “agent” and “broker” to refer to the same professional.) This is due to their real estate knowledge and experience and, at least historically, their exclusive access to a database of active properties for sale. Access to this database of property listings provided the most efficient way to search for properties.

The MLS (and CIE)

The database of residential, land, and smaller income producing properties (including some commercial properties) is commonly referred to as a multiple listing service (MLS). In most cases, only properties listed by member real estate agents can be added to an MLS. The primary purpose of an MLS is to enable the member Real estate agent in Baldwin Park to make offers of compensation to other member agents if they find a buyer for a property.

This purposes did not include enabling the direct publishing of the MLS information to the public; times change. Today, most MLS information is directly accessible to the public over the Internet in many different forms.

Commercial property listings are also displayed online but aggregated commercial property information is more elusive. Larger MLSs often operate a commercial information exchange (CIE). A CIE is similar to an MLS but the agents adding the listings to the database are not required to offer any specific type of compensation to the other members. Compensation is negotiated outside the CIE.

In most cases, for-sale-by-owner properties cannot be directly added to an MLS and CIE, which are typically maintained by REALTOR associations. The lack of a managed centralized database can make these properties more difficult to locate. Traditionally, these properties are found by driving around or looking for ads in the local newspaper’s real estate listings. A more efficient way to locate for-sale-by-owner properties is to search for a for-sale-by-owner Web site in the geographic area.

What is a REALTOR? Sometimes the terms real estate agent and REALTOR are used interchangeably; however, they are not the same. A REALTOR is a licensed real estate agent who is also a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. REALTORS are required to comply with a strict code of ethics and conduct.

MLS and CIE property listing information was historically only available in hard copy, and as we mentioned, only directly available to Real estate agent in Baldwin Park members of an MLS or CIE. About ten years ago, this valuable property information started to trickle out to the Internet. This trickle is now a flood!

One reason is that most of the 1 million or so REALTORS have Web sites, and most of those Web sites have varying amounts of the local MLS or CIE property information displayed on them. Another reason is that there are many non-real estate agent Web sites that also offer real estate information, including, for-sale-by-owner sites, foreclosure sites, regional and international listing sites, County assessor sites, and valuation and market information sites. The flood of real estate information to the Internet definitely makes the information more accessible but also more confusing and subject to misunderstanding and misuse.
